This dressing is super simple and pairs well with raw kale. It also makes a good Caesar substitute.
- 4 T. Blanched, Slivered Almonds
- 4 T. Dijon Mustard
- 4 T. Nutritional Yeast
- 1 t. Garlic Powder
- 4 T Lemon Juice
- 1 T. Tamari or Soy Sauce
- 1 T. Oil
- 1/2 c. water
- A couple dashes of pepper
Mix all ingredients together in a food processor or VitaMix. You can also use an immersion blender. Blend until smooth. If you want it extra silky (or your food processor is not that powerful) push through a strainer and discard chunks.)
